BackCountry Wins 'Community of the Year' Award!
The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA) held its annual BAR Awards celebration on Friday, October 28th and BackCountry was awarded with one of the most prestigious awards of the evening - 'Community of the Year!' The BAR Awards are comprised of marketing, sales, interior design and architectural awards which are presented to those who raise the BAR and set a standard of excellence in the Denver home building industry. "We are exceptionally proud to be recognized by the BAR Awards. It is a tribute to all the Shea employees, trade partners and consultants who helped bring BackCountry to life. The dedication, professionalism and vision is unmistakable and we extend our heartiest congratulations and gratitude to all those who helped make its success possible," said Jeff Kappes, Vice President of Shea Homes - Colorado Division.

Sundial House Wins Again!
Not only did Sundial win the Gold Nugget award this past June during the Pacific Coast Builders Conference - the building industry's leading conference recognizing builders and developers - but it also garnered the prestigious 'Best Clubhouse' by the Home Builders Association during the recent BAR Awards celebration! That now makes four outstanding awards in 2011 recognizing this stunning facility!
Designed by local Colorado architect, Mike Woodley of Woodley Architectural Group, Inc., the Sundial House was envisioned as a luxurious, private retreat and as the central gathering point for a variety of activities and social interaction.
